Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Glassfrog (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operator of FreelancerLLM, collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website, dashboard, API, and the FreelancerLLM for Upwork Chrome extension (together, the “Service”). The Service helps freelancers analyze Upwork jobs and draft proposals using a workspace they control.
1. Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to users who create a FreelancerLLM account, use our web app, or install and link the Chrome extension. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Service.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:
- Account information (personally identifiable information): such as your name and email address when you register or update your profile.
- Authentication information: credentials and tokens used to sign you in and keep the extension linked to your workspace (for example, access and refresh tokens stored locally in the extension after you connect your account).
- Website content from Upwork: text and metadata visible on Upwork pages you view while using the extension—such as job titles, descriptions, budgets, client details, and proposal form fields—so we can score jobs, show intelligence, and generate draft text you can review before submitting.
- Workspace and usage data: settings you save (filters, ICP rules, notification preferences), job analysis results, proposal drafts you choose to save, and actions you take in the dashboard (for example, marking jobs as applied or won).
- Technical data: basic logs from our servers (such as IP address, browser type, request time, and error logs) to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
We do not intentionally collect:
- Health information
- Payment card numbers processed by us (payments, if offered, are handled by our payment processor)
- A general history of websites you visit outside Upwork
- Keystroke logging, mouse tracking, or surveillance across unrelated websites
3. How we use information
We use collected information only to:
- Provide and maintain your workspace and linked extension
- Score and filter jobs according to your saved criteria
- Generate and store proposal drafts and related analytics you request
- Send optional browser notifications about high-fit jobs or agent status
- Secure the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with law
- Improve features and fix errors
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for unrelated advertising, credit scoring, or lending decisions.
4. Chrome extension–specific practices
- The extension runs only after you install it and link it to your FreelancerLLM account using a connection flow you start from our dashboard.
-
The extension reads Upwork page content only on
*.upwork.comwhile you use those pages for freelancing workflows. -
Extension settings, tokens, and caches are stored in
chrome.storageon your device. You can disconnect the extension in settings, which removes stored auth tokens. - Executable code in the extension is bundled in the package. Our servers return data (such as scores and draft text), not remote JavaScript executed in your browser.
5. Where data is stored and processed
Data is stored on your device (extension storage) and on servers we use to host the FreelancerLLM API and dashboard. These may be located in the United States or other countries where our hosting providers operate. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
6. Third-party services
We may share data with service providers that help us run the Service, such as:
- Cloud hosting and database providers
- Email delivery providers (for account messages you request)
- AI / LLM API providers, when you use features that generate analysis or draft text—limited to the content needed to perform that request
- Payment processors, if you purchase a paid plan (they handle payment details under their own policies)
These providers process data only on our instructions and for the purposes described in this policy, except where they are legally required to retain or disclose information.
7. Data retention
We retain account and workspace data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us. Some logs may be kept for a limited period for security, backup, and legal compliance.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Export your data in a portable format, where applicable
To exercise these rights, email support@glassfrogtech.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. International users
If you access the Service from outside the country where our servers are located, your information may be transferred to and processed in that country. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your own.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
